HOW TO ADOPT

Please Note: We do not always advertise all of the available dogs.Once we have received your pre-adoption form, we will contact you if a dog is suitable and meets your profile.

STEP 1

Download the pre-adoption form by clicking the button below

STEP 2

Email the completed pre-adoption form to admin@dobermannrescue.co.za. Please note incomplete forms will not be considered

STEP 3

Attach a copy of your ID, some photos of your property and proof of residence to the email (for home check purposes). All information is secure and confidential

STEP 4

Home check - once a suitable dog is found that matches your profile, we request a R200 upfront home check fee, which is deducted off your adoption fee if successful. The R200 fee for unsuccessful home checks will be retained as a donation to Dobermann Rescue.

STEP 5

If your home check is given the all clear, you will then be asked to pay the adoption fee (the fee varies depending on each dogs circumstances) and sign a contract. The contract is there to protect all parties, but most importantly, the dog. If at any point you are no longer able to keep the adopted dog, the dog must be returned to Dobermann Rescue South Africa as per the signed contract

STEP 6

We require regular updates on the dog as well as any change of address, contact details or circumstance and pictures of your new boy or girl in their forever home :)
